A statement on Scunthorpe United's official website has confirmed that Matt Godden has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
The 21-year-old scored five times on loan at Ebbsfleet United last season, but returned for the final four games of Scunthorpe's League One campaign.
"Striker Matt Godden has signed a new one-year deal with the Iron. The forward, who has been a professional since 2009, has extended his stay with the club by a further year," read the statement.
Godden has made 16 appearances for the League Two outfit.
