Sevilla striker Kevin Gameiro has revealed his delight after helping his Spanish club win the Europa League title for a third time in succession.
The French striker equalised 17 seconds into the second period in Basel as Sevilla came from behind to beat Liverpool 3-1, courtesy of a second-half brace from skipper Coke.
Gameiro has claimed that his side "did not panic" after falling behind and has hailed the "beautiful" success as Unai Emery led the La Liga outfit to a third straight victory in this competition.
"We knew it would be a tough game. We conceded in the first half, but we did not panic. The coach told us to stay quiet and wait for our moment," Gameiro is quoted as saying by UEFA.com. "We managed to do it. We scored fast, it helped us. It's beautiful. It's the third straight title for me."
Sevilla will now face Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final on Sunday night.
