Sports Mole brings you live commentary of tonight's La Liga clash between Sevilla and Mallorca at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Good evening and welcome to Sports Mole's live commentary of tonight's La Liga clash between Sevilla and Mallorca at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Both sides have made encouraging starts to their respective campaigns and victory for either could move them as high as fifth this evening.

Sevilla currently occupy eighth spot in the La Liga table with 11 points from their first seven matches, while Mallorca sit one spot higher but with the same points as their opponents this evening.

The home side triumphed 3-1 in the corresponding fixture last season, but Mallorca did secure a point in their own backyard in November 2011.

Please note that kickoff is at 8.30pm.

The result moves Sevilla into fifth spot in the table, while Mallorca remain in eighth position. Thanks for joining Sports Mole for the action and be sure to join us for Champions League football tomorrow. Until then!

Attack after attack from Sevilla. It's constant, but Mallorca remain strong and clear the danger on each occasion. Surely the third goal is coming?

Handshakes? Check. Flags exchanged? Check. Let's get the action underway on this mild evening in Sevilla. We have had some fantastic matches in La Liga this weekend, let's hope that this match follows suit.
Here we go then. Both sets of players join us on the pitch ahead of kickoff. You just get the feeling that it is going to be one of those matches where the opening goal is all-important.
Just a reminder that victory for either side tonight would move them into fifth and onto the same points as fourth-placed Real Madrid. My pre-match prediction is 2-1 to Sevilla. I have done alright with my predictions lately!
In terms of the head-to-head record between the two sides. Sevilla have won two, drawn two and lost just one of the last five encounters. However, Mallorca's singular win came at the home of Sevilla in November 2010.
However, they have lost their last two league matches against Getafe and Granada and will be keen to return to winning ways this evening.
Mallorca, meanwhile, opened their season with a 2-1 win over Espanyol before drawing with Malaga. Victory followed in their next game against Real Sociedad and they remained unbeaten with a draw against Osasuna and victory over Valencia.
A 1-0 win over Real Madrid was then followed by a 2-0 away win over Deportivo La Coruna, but they have lost their last two league matches against Barcelona and Celta Vigo.
Let's take a look at how both sides have fared this season, starting with Sevilla. They started their league season with a home win over Getafe, before securing back-to-back draws against Granada and Rayo Vallecano.
