Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile has said that he is "very happy" to have completed his move to Sevilla.
The 25-year-old has joined the Europa League holders on a season-long loan deal, with the option of making the transfer permanent next summer.
He endured a difficult campaign at Dortmund last term, scoring just three league goals for the German outfit, but he is confident of rediscovering his form at the La Liga club.
"I'm very happy because I'm now part of this family, the Sevilla family," he told reporters. "I'm also very happy because Sevilla are a very important team.
"I expect to be at Sevilla for at least a couple of years because I don't like to keep on changing teams. "[I hope next year will be better because] I come here on the back of a bad season [with Dortmund].
"It was a very difficult transfer to complete, so I must thank the president and Monchi that everything has ended well."
Immobile has scored once in 12 appearances for Italy.
