Sevilla boss Unai Emery has said that his side had "no patience" during their goalless draw with Valencia at the Estadio Ramon on Sunday evening.
Both sides finished with 10 men during the clash, which also saw Ivan Rakitic miss a second-half penalty for the hosts.
"The two halves have to be differentiated. In the first half we pressed high, but didn't dominate the right spaces," he told reporters at a press conference.
"And after the sending off, there was no patience on our behalf. But I thought we did enough to win the match. We have to continue working hard, but I have the confidence that this team can play and can get results."
Sevilla currently sit seventh in La Liga, while Valencia are eighth.
