Levante and Sevilla both remain without a win in La Liga this season after drawing 1-1 at the Estadi Ciutat de Valencia this evening.
Sevilla took the lead in the 12th minute thanks to former Stoke City midfielder Steven N'Zonzi, who placed the ball beyond Levante goalkeeper Ruben with power from outside of the box.
Half-chances followed from Levante's Jose Mari and Sevilla's Vitolo, but the first period of the game failed to offer too many clear-cut opportunities for either side.
Play picked up in the second half as Levante searched hard for an equaliser. Nabil Ghilas saw two shots pass wide of the post early on, with a long-range shot from Deyverson going the same way.
The home side were rewarded for their work just under 15 minutes after the break, when Victor Camarasa headed the ball beyond Beto from close range to make it 1-1.
Mari had another shot saved as Levante were seeking a winner, though Italy international Ciro Immobile had his own headed attempt blocked for Sevilla with less than 15 minutes until the final whistle.
Further half-chances followed, and Sevilla's Coke threatened with just two minutes to go, but had a header saved and hit a follow-up shot wide as both sides ultimately settled for a draw.
