Frederic Kanoute has admitted that he is interested in a move to China after ending his seven-year spell with Sevilla.
The Malian international's contract with the Spanish side ran out at the end of the season and he is now pondering where his future lies.
Kanoute traveled to China for talks with Beijing Guoan last week and the 34-year-old has confessed his attraction in following Didier Drogba in making a lucrative move to the Far East.
"I went to China to discuss an offer I have got from the Chinese club. I am delighted with what I heard," he said.
However, the former West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur striker has also said that moves to the United States or the Middle East are intriguing options.
He added: "However, I have a lot of offers on the table at the moment and fingers crossed I will make the right choice. Football has developed everywhere nowadays - all leagues are now very competitive.
"My career is not finished yet, I can still play at the top level. I am looking forward to next season either in the Middle East or China or the United States."
Kanoute scored 135 goals during his time with Sevilla.
