Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough has praised his much-changed side for Tuesday's victory over Peterborough United in League One.
Despite making six changes to the starting lineup, Clough saw the Blades run out 2-0 winners at Bramall Lane to make it eight wins in a row.
Ben Davies opened the scoring two minutes into the second half before Chris Porter sealed the points with two minutes left to play.
"It was immensely satisfying with the changes we made. It keeps the run going and puts us in a nice position in the league," Clough is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"We've got injuries and one or two needed a rest. For the lads to come in and do the job as they did was absolutely brilliant for everybody."
United return to action on Sunday when they host Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
