Barry Bannan, Andre Gray, Alan Judge and Paul Robinson have been nominated for the Football League's Championship Player of the Month award for October.
Bannan is up for the gong for helping Sheffield Wednesday finish the month unbeaten following three victories and two draws.
The Owls are now eighth in the Championship table, just one point adrift of the playoff places after 14 games.
Burnley striker Gray has also been added to the Player of the Month list after finding the back of the net five times in October during games against Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town.
Judge has been handed a nomination for his influential role at the tip of a diamond formation in Brentford's team as he managed to score three goals and make four assists last month.
Robinson scored a surprise goal, his first league strike for eight years, for Birmingham City against Queens Park Rangers in October, but that was not enough for the centre-back, who scored another three days later in a 1-0 win over Bolton Wanderers.
Not only did he contribute to some rare goals, Robinson, who completes the Player of the Month nominees, has been a solid figure in defence.
The winner of the award will be announced on Friday.
