Sheffield Wednesday defender Glenn Loovens has put pen to paper on a new one-year contract with the Championship club.
The Dutchman was due to be out of contract this summer but will now remain at Hillsborough for at least one more season.
Loovens, 31, has made a total of 54 appearances for the South Yorkshire outfit since joining them from Real Zaragoza in November 2013.
He was captain of the Owls last season, but missed 20 of their league games due to an ankle injury.
