Goalkeeper Keiren Westwood has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract with Sheffield Wednesday.
The 30-year-old was due to be out of contract next summer, but will now remain with the Owls until the end of the 2017-18 season.
Westwood joined Wednesday last year from Sunderland and helped the South Yorkshire side equal a club-record 17 clean sheets in 2014-15.
The Irishman has missed the Owls' last three games due to injury but is expected to return soon.
