Sheffield Wednesday have announced that Atdhe Nuhiu has penned a new two-year contract at Hillsborough.
Nuhiu has just finished the season as the club's top goalscorer in the Championship, but nine of his 11 goals came during a period between March 17 and the end of the season.
The Kosovo international has now spent five years with the Yorkshire giants, and admits that he is delighted to have extended his stay with the Owls.
The 28-year-old told the club's official website: "Sheffield Wednesday was the club to open the door for me to come to England and my priority was to stay here.
"The manager and the club has shown that they want me to stay so there was no doubt that we could find an agreement and I am very pleased with that."
In total, Nuhih has scored 39 goals in 198 appearances in all competitions.
