Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Warren Clarke has signed his first professional contract at Hillsborough.
The 17-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal that will run until June 2018, and follows in the footsteps of Matt Penney and Connor Kirby, who both committed their futures to the club last week.
Clarke told the Owls' website: "I'm over the moon that I have got my contract early. I've been here for five years and this is the place I want to be. This is the first hurdle and I've still got a long way to go.
"It's great that Sheffield Wednesday have the belief in me to give me a professional contract. Now I need to push myself as far as I can go.
"Everybody goes through good times and bad times along the way but I've always believed in myself and that I could get to this point."
Clarke has scored five goals in his last five games for the Owls' Under-18 side.
