Spanish midfielder Angel Martinez has been handed his Chesterfield debut for tonight's clash with Shrewsbury Town, just two days after signing for the club.
The former Blackpool midfielder signed a two-year deal with the Spireites on Sunday and has been thrown into action at the first opportunity by boss Dean Saunders.
The visitors have named an attacking lineup, in which Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Drew Talbot and Lee Novak all start.
Meanwhile, the home side are forced into a change at centre-back where Mark Ellis is brought in to replace Connor Goldson, who picked up a hamstring injury in training.
