Lyon came from a goal down to secure a comfortable 3-1 win over Sochaux in Ligue 1 this evening.
The home side grabbed an early lead from a Ryad Boudebouz penalty, after Cedric Bakambu was hauled down by Milan Bisevac inside the box just four minutes into the match.
Alexandre Lacazette caused problems for the Sochaux defenders as the visitors pushed for an equaliser, but it was Yassine Benzia who levelled the scores in the 37th minute, blasting the ball into the top of the net from close range.
Lyon took the lead just before the break, with Lacazette catching out Sochaux keeper Simon Pouplin with a strike from just outside the penalty area.
Yoann Gourcuff extended Remi Garde's team's advantage at the start of the second half, calmly curling an effort in from the edge of the box, following some strong build-up play from Steed Malbranque and Lacazette.
Malbranque almost added a fourth late on, but Julien Faussurier was on hand to block the effort.
