Nathaniel Clyne is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his Southampton colleagues by playing his way into the England squad.
Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson called up Adam Lallana and Jay Rodriguez for the upcoming friendlies against Germany and Chile, and they join teammate Rickie Lambert in the national fold.
Hodgson has admitted that Clyne is another Saints player that he is monitoring, and the 22-year-old full-back is determined to catch the England manager's eye.
"It shows that my good form is being looked at, and hopefully if I keep on performing the way I am I'll get a shot at performing with England," Clyne told reporters.
"That would be a dream come true, really. We're all flying high at the moment. We must be doing something right.
"Players are getting looked at to go and play for England. Hopefully they represent well and hopefully if I keep performing I can get my call-up as well."
Southampton are currently third in the Premier League table.
