Southampton captain Kelvin Davis has said that his side are looking to make the most of their home advantage against Reading tonight.
The Saints keeper, whose side are level on points atop the Championship with Brian McDermott's men, admits that he and his teammates are hoping for a straightforward win amid all the excitement surrounding their clash.
"I'm excited about the game," he told the club's official website. "We know what we're capable of, what we've got in our dressing room, what we've got in this stadium when it's full.
"We're in a fantastic position and Reading are as well, but we're at home and we know what we can do at home.
"I'm sure it's a fascinating game from the outside looking in, but we don't want it to be too fascinating from where we are, just a nice and simple home win."
Southampton have remained inside the top two spots in the Championship throughout the entire season.
