The winger has won both the players' player of the year and fans' player of the year awards.

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl believes the best is yet to come from Nathan Redmond after the striker swept up the club's accolades this week.

Redmond will look to round off an impressive personal campaign when the Saints bring their Premier League season to a close against Huddersfield on Sunday.

The 25-year-old has featured in every game this season across a variety of attacking roles, and Hasenhuttl believes there are "no limits" to what he can go on to achieve.

Hasenhuttl told a press conference: "I think he has made a very big development and I have enjoyed working with him but I don't see the limits for him.

"Next year I want Nathan Redmond to be a player who shows again that he can make a difference in our game and that is exactly what he wants to do.

"I am very convinced of his qualities and I know he can help us a lot in the future. We will be focused from the first day of the season to make him better."

Redmond, who has won both the club's players' player of the year and fans' player of the year awards, has indicated his desire to establish himself as a traditional number nine.

And while Hasenhuttl expressed surprise at his comments, he believes Redmond's versatility is one of his biggest attributes as he continues to grow in the game.

Hasenhuttl added: "He showed that he can play as the single striker in a 5-3-2, for example, and he's very variable and he's always motivated.

"He has a very good body language and if he feels comfortable within himself he always has a very good performance."

Hasenhuttl will once again be without defender Maya Yoshida, who is still struggling with a virus, for the finale against the already-relegated Terriers.

And the Austrian has demanded his side bounce back to finish the campaign on a high in front of their own supporters following a dismal defeat at West Ham last week.

He added: "Huddersfield is a team that will play without pressure and we do too now, so I think it can be a spectacular game if both teams play fresh and offensive.

"We know they are relegated and every player wants to show they are good enough for the Premier League. For us it means a serious chance to say goodbye in a winning way."
