Reading youngster Diamond Milan Edwards has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Southampton and Roma.
Edwards is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Royals, but the 16-year-old is regarded as one of the most sought-after English prospects ahead of the summer window.
According to The Sun, Edwards is likely to entertain an exit from the Madejski Stadium rather than pen a contract with the club.
The report claims that Southampton and Roma are both prepared to compile offers in the coming weeks, although it is suggested that Edwards is prepared to move abroad.
Reading will only be due a small compensation fee if Edwards does not sign professional terms with the Championship outfit.
