Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has branded Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante "a great player" following the Frenchman's performance against Newcastle United on Monday night.
Kante, 24, joined Leicester from Caen last summer and has been lauded for his performances throughout the campaign, helping the Foxes to the top of the Premier League.
Koeman was full of praise for the Paris-born midfielder, who is believed to have cost Leicester just over £5.5m at the start of the season.
"What a player. He wins every second ball and is always on the move. His position is very clever and he is a great player," Koeman told Sky Sports News.
Kante penned a four-year contract at the King Power Stadium at the start of August 2015.
