Southampton boss Ronald Koeman feels that Newcastle United have a had poor start to their Premier League campaign ahead of their clash on Saturday.
The Magpies invested heavily in the summer bringing in players such as Siem de Jong, Remy Cabella, Emmanuel Riviere and Daryl Janmaat, and Koeman believes that there is enough quality in the squad for an improvement in their form.
He told reporters: "Newcastle have not had a good start to the season. Maybe there is a little bit more pressure on them to win but I like to see more what my team has to do to win against them.
"Newcastle have good quality players and I know a lot about the Dutch guys who play for them. Janmaat is a good player. He has a lot of offensive qualities and brings a lot of spirit and tempo to the team. He is a good signing for Newcastle.
"Tim Krul is a very good goalkeeper and I look forward to seeing all the Dutch guys, hopefully after we win."
The Saints and Alan Pardew's side face off at St Mary's Stadium later today.
