Southampton defender Luke Shaw is adamant that his foul on Grant Holt in the Saints' 0-0 draw with Norwich City was "never a penalty".
Referee Mark Clattenburg awarded the Canaries a spot kick in stoppage time but Holt's kick was saved by Artur Boruc earning Mauricio Pochettino's side a point.
Shaw said on Twitter: "It was never a penalty, and if it was I would be the first one to say it was a penalty.
"But it was a great save from Artur Boruc and thanks to the fans for the support."
The Saints are 16th in the Premier League following the draw and are four points clear of the relegation zone.
