Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama has insisted that the team is not feeling under pressure despite their disappointing run of form.
The Saints have slipped down to sixth place in the Premier League table in recent weeks thanks to just one win from their last five matches.
However, ahead of this evening's game at home to Crystal Palace, Wanyama is confident that he and his teammates will prove their critics wrong.
"We know we haven't got the goals recently, but hopefully tonight we're going to get a positive result," he told Sky Sports News. "I don't think we feel pressure. People didn't expect us to do so well and we're showing we are a strong team. We just need to keep going and prove them wrong. Hopefully we can get back to winning ways tonight."
Wanyama has scored three goals in 29 appearances for Southampton this season.
