Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie will reportedly travel to Southampton for a medical after a fee over his sale to Ronald Koeman's side was agreed.
The Dutch side's captain has been linked with a move to the Saints, with Koeman admitting that they would make a bid if Morgan Schneiderlin completed his move to Manchester United.
Following the French international's departure, ESPN now reports that an initial payment of £7m has been agreed for the Netherlands international, with add-ons potentially raising the figure to £8.5m, subject to a medical which will take place in the next 24 hours.
Clasie played under Koeman for most of his career at Feyenoord until the manager departed for Southampton last summer.
