Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse has reportedly committed his future to Southampton by agreeing a new five-year deal at the club.
The highly-rated England Under-21s international signed a similar contract at St Mary's in 2012 after making a breakthrough into the first team, although Sky Sports News claims that he has now been tied down until 2020.
Having made his Premier League debut for the Saints against Manchester City as an 18-year-old, Ward-Prowse has since featured more prominently in the set up.
The youngster missed three months of the current campaign through injury, although since returning in December he has featured 11 times for the South Coast outfit, which has led to a new deal supposedly being offered and accepted.
Ronald Koeman's side are currently third in the Premier League table.
