Southampton have completed the signing of Argentinian goalkeeper Paulo Gazzinga from Gillingham.
Gazzinga has signed a four-year-contract at St Mary's that will see him provide competition to Kelvin Davis for a Premier League start.
The 20-year-old could barely believe the move had gone through when he spoke to the official club website.
He said: I am very happy because signing for a Premier League team is a dream."
"It's mad because I only played a few matches last season - it's a crazy situation. The club has a lot of ambition, so I was eager to sign. I can't wait to get started."
Gazzinga becomes Saints fourth summer signing after just half a season as Gill's first-choice keeper in League Two.
He joins Jay Rodriguez, Steven Davis and Nathaniel Clyne in helping shape Saints' squad aiming for Premier League survival this season.
