Southampton have emerged as surprise contenders to sign Crystal Palace prodigy Wilfried Zaha.
The 19-year-old has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs including Manchester United, Reading and Sunderland.
Saints boss Nigel Adkins could now add last season's Championship Young Player of the Year to his newly-promoted squad, according to The Sun.
Zaha was recently named in the Team GB squad by coach Stuart Pearce for this summer's Olympic Games.
