Southampton have completed the signing of Rangers midfielder Steven Davis on a three-year deal.
The 27-year-old is the latest in a number of players to leave the troubled Scottish side after rejecting the transfer of his contract over to the 'newco' version of the club.
"I'm delighted to get everything done and dusted, and I'm looking forward to getting started," he told the Saints' official website.
"There was quite a bit of interest in myself but, after speaking to the chairman and the manager, I saw the ambition the club has shown.
"They've had a lot of success over the past couple of years to get to this stage, and they don't want to stand still - they want to keep moving forward, and that was a big thing for me."
Davis joined the Gers from Fulham in 2008 after a loan spell at the club.
