Southampton are reportedly lining up an offer for Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall.
New Saints boss Ronald Koeman wants the Scotland international to challenge Artur Boruc for first-team football at St Mary's Stadium next season, according to The Mirror.
Marshall, who has also been linked with Arsenal, impressed with his performances at Cardiff last term despite the club's relegation to the Championship.
Koeman is said to have been handed a significant transfer kitty to strengthen the squad he recently inherited from Mauricio Pochettino over the summer.
