Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has named a star-studded team for tonight's Confederations Cup Group B opener against Uruguay.
The only surprise omission is Chelsea forward Fernando Torres, who has to settle for a place on the bench as Roberto Soldado leads the attacking line in a 4-5-1 formation.
Goalkeeper Iker Casillas has not featured in a competitive fixture since January, but the Real Madrid shot-stopper is preferred to Pepe Reina and Victor Valdes.
Meanwhile, Uruguay will operate in a fluid 4-4-2 system, which will see Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani playing furthest forward.
Spain: Casillas, Pique, Ramos, Arbeloa, Alba, Xavi, Fabregas, Busquets, Iniesta, Pedro, Soldado
Uruguay: Muslera, Lugano, Godin, Pereira, Caceres, Gargano, Rodriguez, Perez, Ramirez, Suarez, Cavani
