Polish FA chief Grzegorz Lato has dismissed Spanish complaints over the pitch during their 1-1 draw with Italy yesterday.
Spain had claimed that the pitch was too long and dry, and that the Italians had refused to let the pitch be watered before the match.
However, Lato laughed off these claims as nonsensical.
"What nonsense! The grass was the perfect length," he told a local radio station.
"The thing is that often one waters the pitch for the game. But you need agreement from the two teams.
"The Spanish wanted it to be watered, the Italians did not agree."
Spain's next game will be against the Republic of Ireland on June 14, while Italy will face Croatia on the same day.
