Alvaro Morata has revealed his delight after helping Spain book their spot in the knockout round of Euro 2016 with a 3-0 win over Turkey in Group D's clash on Friday night.
Spain struggled to a 1-0 victory over Czech Republic in their competition opener, but turned on the style against Turkey as a brace from Morata and a Nolito effort secured all the points in comfortable fashion.
Morata has claimed that Spain's 'team spirit' is currently shining through as the holders of the competition look to secure a third straight European crown.
"The important thing about this group is that we don't think that [we are favourites], that there is a spectacular atmosphere. We have spent a lot of time together, we've laughed, and it shows on the pitch," the Juventus striker told Telecinco.
"I'm very happy for the match the team played, very happy for the goals but above all for being here. Before I watched all of Spain's matches on television so to enjoy this team is a dream for me.
"People said we wouldn't score? They're always looking for something, when the team is doing well they say the strikers won't score. We continue and work. We've played a great game against a very tough team and now to win the next match."
Spain will attempt to secure first spot in Group D when they take on Croatia next Tuesday.
