Villarreal midfielder Bruno Soriano has revealed his delight after receiving a late call into the Spain squad.
The 30-year-old was called up on Tuesday after Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas pulled out with a hamstring problem.
Bruno's last cap for his country came in May 2012.
"I'm going to give my best to help the national side and I promise effort, hard work and sacrifice," he told reporters.
"I'll contribute all I can so it turns out well and I'm proud to be able to pull on a Spain shirt once more after such a long time."
Spain face Belarus in a Euro 2016 qualifier on November 15, before facing Germany in a friendly three days later.
