Iker Casillas is reportedly keen to play international football again under Spain manager Luis Enrique, despite being left out of the squad for two years.
The former Real Madrid goalkeeper is in good form at Porto this season, having earned clean sheets in his last three games for the club.
The 37-year-old's last appearance for Spain was in a victory over North Korea back in June 2016 during the European Championships.
According to AS, Casillas contacted Enrique earlier this week about a potential return to the international set-up.
The report adds that no decision has been made by the Spain boss over whether Casillas will be part of his 23-man squad in the near future.
