Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has claimed that he wants his side to end their disappointing 2014 World Cup on a positive note ahead of Monday's clash with Australia.
La Roja have already been eliminated from the World Cup after losing both of their Group B matches this summer, rendering Monday's clash with Australia purely academic.
However, Del Bosque has called on his team to end the competition "in the best possible way".
"We want to say goodbye in the best possible way. I became more eternal after the game against Holland but after these few days we understand the situation, we came together and that's made it bearable," he told reporters at a press conference.
Del Bosque's own future remains uncertain.
