Spain coach Vicente del Bosque was delighted with the way that his team managed to control the game in their 4-0 victory over Belarus on Friday.
Spain, who scored through Jordi Alba and a hat-trick from Pedro, dominated the possession and Del Bosque said that Belarus were unable to match their level of play.
"We played well and controlled the match," rfef.es quotes Del Bosque as saying. "[Belarus] could not play to our level, and never felt comfortable on the pitch."
"It was a good game, very complete. The players felt very comfortable from the beginning, linked well, played with depth, and recovered the ball well. The talent and quality of our players did the rest."
Spain currently top Group I with two wins from two.
