Spain goalkeeper Pepe Reina has insisted that La Roja will not underestimate Chile in Wednesday's World Cup Group B clash.
The world and European champions lost their first group match to Netherlands on Friday, making the clash with Chile a key fixture in their fight to remain in the competition.
"We have tremendous respect for them and we need to as we know they are intense in everything they do," Reina told AS.
"Their team is tactically disciplined and it will be difficult. What matters to us is to take control and play how we want.
"It's time to stand up for Spain. If we die, we will die with our heads held high."
Reina is once more expected to start on the bench against Chile, with Spain boss Vicente del Bosque almost certain to keep faith with Iker Casillas.
