Santa Clara vs. AVS (Saturday, 3.30pm)
Fresh off the back of securing their first-ever win in the Portuguese top flight, AVS journey to the Estadio de Sao Miguel to take on Santa Clara on Saturday.
Having gained promotion from the Segunda Liga last season, both sides will look to grab the bragging rights in their first top-flight clash and secure consecutive wins for the first time this season.
We say: Santa Clara 2-0 AVS
Santa Clara and AVS have enjoyed a solid start to the season and will head into Saturday looking to pick up from where they dropped off last weekend. Santa Clara won both home and away meetings between the sides last term and we are tipping them to come out on top in front of their home supporters.

Estrela Amadora vs. Casa Pia (Saturday, 6.00pm)
Estrela Amadora and Casa Pia set out in search of their first win of the 2024-25 Primeira Liga campaign when they square off at the Estadio Jose Gomes on Saturday.
Having lost both home and away meetings between the two teams last season, Os Gansos will head into the weekend desperate to get one over the hosts and end their run of five back-to-back defeats in all competitions.
We say: Estrela Amadora 2-1 Casa Pia
Estrela and Casa Pia have endured a slow start to the new campaign and will head into the weekend in search of a pick-me-up. While both sides are evenly matched on paper, the Tricolores' home advantage gives them a slight edge and we fancy them to make it three consecutive victories over Casa Pia.

Boavista vs. Estoril (Saturday, 6.00pm)
Seeking to secure their first win of the 2024-25 Primeira Liga campaign, Estoril Praia journey to the Estadio do Bessa to take on Boavista on Saturday.
Os Axadrezados head into the weekend unbeaten in six back-to-back home games against Estoril and will be looking to make it four consecutive wins between the teams since May 2023.
We say: Boavista 2-1 aEstoril Praia
While Estoril Praia have stumbled into the new campaign, they will aim to take the positives from their stalemate against Gil Vicente and secure their first win of the season. However, their form on the road is currently nothing to write home about and we predict Boavista will do just enough to secure all three points in front of their home supporters.

Sporting Lisbon vs. Porto (Saturday, 8.30pm)
Sporting Lisbon and Porto will be looking to maintain their 100% record in the new Primeira Liga campaign when they lock horns at the Estadio Jose Alvalade on Saturday.
This will be the second encounter between the two teams within the space of five weeks, with the Leoes claiming a dramatic 4-3 victory to clinch the Supertaca Candido de Oliveira title when they met on August 3.
We say: Sporting Lisbon 3-2 Porto
The last five meetings between the two teams have seen a combined 19 goals scored and we anticipate another action-packed contest this weekend. While both sides have flown out of the blocks this season, Sporting Lisbon's home advantage gives them a slight edge here and we fancy them to come away with the desired result.
