Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has provided a positive update on the fitness of Harry Kane.
The club's top goalscorer has not played since suffering ankle ligament damage in the Champions League quarter-finals, but the England international is attempting to recover in time for the final against Liverpool on June 1.
Pochettino was asked about Kane while at the Bilbao International Football Summit, and the Argentine has suggested that the forward is on course to make the 18-man squad.
The 47-year-old said during a video conference: "He's training and has entered the final stage of his recovery.
"We're hoping he'll be able to give us a hand - either from the start, from the bench or if not, then by giving us moral support in the dressing room - but we are optimistic that he'll be able to help us on the pitch."
Kane is also aiming to represent England in the UEFA Nations League, with the Three Lions's fixture against the Netherlands coming five days after the game in Madrid.
