Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas is hopeful that UEFA will act after striker Emmanuel Adebayor allegedly faced racist abuse in his side's game against Inter Milan.
Spurs progressed to the quarter-finals of the Europa League despite their 4-1 defeat at the San Siro as the Togo striker scored the critical away goal.
Villas-Boas told reporters: "It was very, very easy to hear the chanting so I'm sure UEFA will act on it.
"It's very difficult for Inter Milan, because it's happened before. It doesn't mar the game but it's something that should not have happened."
The draw for the last eight of the Europa League is made later today.
