Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has declared that he is impressed with the "immense talent" shown by Hugo Lloris in his first training sessions at the club.
French international goalkeeper Lloris signed for Spurs on transfer deadline day from Lyon for a fee in the region of £8m.
Villas-Boas has insisted that everything is fine between him and Lloris after he was rumoured to have annoyed the France captain with comments stating that Brad Friedel will remain his first-choice keeper.
He told reporters: "We have spoken last weekend and during the week, everything is fine.
"The first two days after the international week were more like recovery days for him. From then on he was training more with (goalkeeping coach) Tony Parks to get used to his methods, which is very, very important.
"The only thing we can say is that his talent is immense and easily visible from the time he has trained with us."
Lloris is in contention to make his Spurs debut in Thursday's Europa League tie at home to Lazio.
