Tottenham Hotspur's Michael Dawson has been taken to hospital with suspected ruptured ankle ligaments.
The defender was stretchered off after only seven minutes of his side's FA Cup fifth-round replay against Stevenage at White Hart Lane when he fell awkwardly while challenging for the ball.
Medical staff treated the player for a number of minutes before they removed him from the field.
Dawson is expected to undergo further tests before the true extent of the injury is known.
