Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Harry Kane twisted his ankle during the Champions League game with Juventus in midweek.
Kane scored Spurs' opening goal in the 2-2 draw in Turin and successfully completed the full 90 minutes, but the England international is currently looking to shake off the knock ahead of Sunday's FA Cup fifth-round tie with Rochdale.
However, Pochettino has claimed that the club are not concerned about the injury and Kane could still play some part in the weekend's game at Spotland.
At a press conference, the 45-year-old told reporters: "He twisted his ankle, he received some knocks. We need to assess tomorrow if he's fit. Maybe he has the possibility to start, if not 100% and there's not the possibility to play 90 minutes, then to be on the bench, or if we see that he's not capable of half an hour or 20 minutes then to stay here like with all the players who we did the same.
"We need to assess him tomorrow to see if he's possible for Sunday. We are not worried. Of course the effort that he made in the last few weeks was amazing and of course we need to care, no?."
Kane has already played 34 times for Spurs in all competitions this season, scoring 33 goals.
