Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has urged his players to "have a real go" in the cup this afternoon.
Redknapp, whose side have been eliminated from both the Carling Cup and Europa League, insists that Spurs have an excellent chance to go the distance, starting with League Two outfit Cheltenham Town at White Hart Lane this weekend.
"We're in two competitions and we've got to have a real go," he said. "I think we've got as good a chance as anyone and it's a competition we want to do well in.
"We want to make sure we get through but it won't be easy. Mark Yates has done a great job at Cheltenham, they are right at the top of the division and we don't underestimate them at all.
"I know what can happen in these games and we have to make sure we're up for it and ready. The lads have to have the right attitude and do the job. If we're not spot on, we'll find ourselves in trouble."
Meanwhile, Tottenham are within six points of first place in the Premier League, with one game in hand.
