Bissouma, Richarlison - Tottenham injury news and return dates for Sheffield United clash

:Headline: Bissouma, Richarlison - Tottenham injury news and return dates for Sheffield United clash:
Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Sheffield United.
Sports Mole

Still at risk of losing fifth place in the Premier League table, Tottenham Hotspur travel to Bramall Lane to meet basement boys Sheffield United in Sunday's finale.

An enraged Ange Postecoglou questioned the club's "fragile" mentality following Tuesday's 2-0 loss to Manchester City, which ensured that they would not be playing Champions League football in the 2024-25 season.

Instead, the Lilywhites are currently Europa League-bound as they sit fifth in the standings, but Chelsea are three points behind with a better goal difference, so defeat here coupled with Manchester United winning the FA Cup could relegate Spurs to Europa Conference League football.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with the Blades, who are already preparing for life back down in the Championship.

Giovani Lo Celso

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: May 19 (vs. Sheffield United)

Postecoglou revealed in Friday's pre-match press conference that midfielder Giovani Lo Celso was a fresh doubt due to a knock to the knee, but he is the only new concern for the Lilywhites.

Yves Bissouma

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Before the midweek loss to Man City, Postecoglou announced that Yves Bissouma had sustained a season-ending knee injury, meaning that he will watch this one from the sidelines.

Richarlison

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Likewise, Brazilian attacker Richarlison is also confined to the infirmary with a calf problem, which will not heal fully for a few weeks and has also scuppered his dreams of representing his country at the Copa America.

Timo Werner

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

The hamstring injury that Timo Werner picked up in the North London derby proved more serious than first feared, and the RB Leipzig loanee might have played his final game for the Lilywhites.

Ben Davies

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

In the same 3-2 loss to Arsenal, left-back Ben Davies damaged his calf and is also set to miss Sunday's game, but he is expected to be fit and firing in pre-season.

Destiny Udogie

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Davies's fellow left-back Destiny Udogie revealed a few weeks ago that he had undergone season-ending surgery on a quadriceps injury, and the highly-rated Italy international will also miss this summer's European Championships.

Fraser Forster

Status: Out
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: Unknown

Fraser Forster has taken longer than initially expected to recover from a fractured foot, and the veteran English goalkeeper is not expected to be present on the bench this weekend either.

Manor Solomon

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Manor Solomon has been forced to undergo a few procedures on a serious knee injury, and the Israel international will also have to watch on from the dugout against Sheffield United.

Ryan Sessegnon

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Thigh victim Ryan Sessegnon will end the season with just one senior appearance to his name, as he picked up a severe injury not long after recovering from a previous devastating issue and is still recovering from his latest operation.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham have no suspended players for this match.
