Tottenham Hotspur will look to increase their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on Friday night.

Goals from in-form duo Son Heung-min and James Maddison helped Spurs claim a routine 2-0 home win over Fulham on Monday to maintain their unbeaten start under new boss Ange Postecoglou, who has seen his side claim 23 points from their opening nine top-flight fixtures.

With games against Chelsea, Aston Villa and Manchester City on the horizon, Tottenham will be keen to build on their positive start to the campaign by claiming a victory over a Crystal Palace side who were thumped 4-0 by Newcastle United last weekend.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Spurs' latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Roy Hodgson's side.

Pape Matar Sarr

Status: Minor doubt
Type of issue: Illness
Possible return date: October 27 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Pape Matar Sarr was taken off just after the hour mark against Fulham due to illness, but the midfielder is expected to be fit to feature against Crystal Palace.

Destiny Udogie

Status: Minor doubt
Type of issue: Fatigue
Possible return date: October 27 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Destiny Udogie was withdrawn just before the hour mark against Fulham due to fatigue, but like Sarr, the left-back should be fit to play against Crystal Palace.

Ivan Perisic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Ivan Perisic sustained an ACL injury and underwent surgery last month, and the Croatian winger is facing a lengthy period on the sidelines.

Manor Solomon

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Manor Solomon is also nursing a serious knee injury sustained a few weeks ago, and the Israeli attacker is set for a least a few months in the treatment room.

Rodrigo Bentancur

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 25 (vs. Aston Villa)

Rodrigo Bentancur has spent the last seven months recuperating from an ACL injury, but the midfielder has recently made progress in his recovery and could be in a position to return to first-team action towards the end of November.

Ryan Sessegnon

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: November 25 (vs. Aston Villa)

Ryan Sessegnon is yet to represent Spurs this season due to a hamstring problem, and the versatile left flanker is not expected to return until the end of next month at the earliest.

Alfie Whiteman

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman underwent ankle surgery at the beginning of August and there has been no timeframe placed on his potential return.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham Hotspur have no suspended players for this match, with midfielder Yves Bissouma available for selection after serving a one-game ban against Fulham.
