While Lamela only narrowly missed out on featuring against Sheffield United ahead of the international break, the Argentine will remain absent with a thigh injury this weekend.

Like Lamela, Vertonghen has had the international break to recover from an injury. While it remains unclear whether the Belgian will feature on Saturday, the defender is closing in on a return to action.

While making good progress in his rehabilitation from a groin injury, Ndombele will need to come through a late fitness test in order to feature against the Hammers.
