Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Tottenham Hotspur will aim to avoid a third-straight game without a win when they tackle Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium in Saturday's Premier League contest.

Antonio Conte's side were held to a 0-0 draw by Eintracht Frankfurt in Tuesday's Champions League Group D clash after going down 3-1 to Arsenal in the North London derby.

The Lilywhites remain third in the Premier League table despite that loss at the Emirates, but they could now be leapfrogged by fourth-placed Brighton, who are only three points behind with a game in hand.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with the Seagulls, who drew 3-3 with Liverpool last weekend in Roberto De Zerbi's first game in charge.

Dejan Kulusevski

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Dejan Kulusevski returned to Tottenham from the international break with a thigh injury and subsequently missed the clashes with Arsenal and Frankfurt. Conte has admitted that he is unsure when the Swede will return, but he is expected to spend at least a couple of weeks on the sidelines.

Lucas Moura

Status: Out
Type of injury: Tendon
Possible return date: Unknown

Lucas Moura's tendon problem is not healing up well, and Conte recently conceded that the Brazilian attacker would be out of action for "a long time".

TOTTENHAM'S SUSPENSION LIST

Emerson Royal

Return date: October 12 (vs. Eintracht Frankfurt)

Emerson Royal received a straight red card for a late challenge on Gabriel Martinelli in last weekend's defeat to Arsenal and is now set to serve the first of a three-game domestic ban, but he will be available for next week's Champions League contest with Frankfurt.
