Tottenham Hotspur left-back Ben Davies has revealed that he is likely to be sidelined for a "couple of weeks" with an ankle injury.
The 23-year-old missed last weekend's 1-1 draw with North London rivals Arsenal after suffering the injury during Spurs' defeat to Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
It appears as though manager Mauricio Pochettino could also be without Davies for Premier League games against West Ham United and Chelsea, as well as a European trip to AS Monaco.
"It's not too good at the moment, I've just got to get ready," Davies told reporters at the Football Association of Wales awards. "It will be a good couple of weeks after this one to get back fit, so I've just got to work hard."
Tottenham are unbeaten in the top flight after 11 games, but their last four games have resulted in draws, which puts the club fifth in the table, five points adrift of leaders Liverpool.
