Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has suggested that Mousa Dembele is a doubt for Saturday's fixture with West Bromwich Albion.
During Monday's 2-0 victory over Watford, Dembele sustained a twisted ankle and the Belgian was substituted shortly after the hour mark at Wembley Stadium.
Pochettino will give Dembele every chance to feature against the Baggies, but the Argentine has indicated that the game may come too soon for the influential midfielder.
At a press conference, the 46-year-old told reporters: "We need to assess him today because we are going to train now.
"It's not clear whether he will be fit or not, but I think we need to wait until after the training and see if he's in a condition to be part of the team or squad tomorrow. Still we need to assess him."
Spurs will qualify for next season's Champions League with two wins from their three remaining games.
